In today’s humdrum life, we forget the small pleasures.
We get so consumed by handling our professional responsibilities that we do not even make efforts for those small pleasures.
Running 10 min early from home to catch with a friend for 10 min.
Or arriving home an hour early, settle and sit down in the cosy corner to read a book.
What Happiness it gives!
Today, I have come in early and sitting in my newly created favourite corner of my house writing this and getting a high for being able to do this at this time.
Small surprises-big happiness.
My friend dropped by for 10 minutes for an idle , fun chat.
Small surprises-big happiness.
We all need a purpose. Whether you are leading a team of people at work or just doing your chores at home and ending up having a professional achievement or running a well-oiled house system.
There is an artist and a scientist in each of us. An artist for lending the aesthetics to all we do and a scientist for creating order from any chaos. The artist and scientist drives us each day to deliver all.
As they say, ‘Life is a stage……you enact little every day, delivering small performances each day to create a complex and whole drama of your life.’
But the real fun is those small surprises-big happiness which motivates us, cheers us and keeps us going day after day. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow.
