What is it about books? Or reading about books?
Reading #Goodreads or walking into #Crosswords
The experience of going through a book site or walking through rows and rows of thoughtfully laid out books in a book store…….it is a sheer pleasure.
I have a huge list of ‘want to read’ book list on #Goodreads.
And want to pick up every alternate book when wandering in the bookstore #Crosswords
.
It is a hunger to want to read all.
It is a frustration of not being able to do in reality.
It is an obsession to want to possess all books I have on my “want to read” books.
It is a despair knowing that possession does not mean reading.
The gap between ‘want to read’ and ‘read’ widens with each passing day.
Each second day, I add more books to ‘want to read’ .
And my ‘want to read’ books ultimately end up being on my book shelf.
Hoping. Dreaming. Desiring. That One day……..
…..I will have read every book lying patiently on my book shelf.
……my thirst of reading will overpower all my daily chores, my routines.
…..I will sit back and transfer the ‘want to read’ to the ‘read’ section.
Cause……..
Dreams have to translate into desires.
Desires have to translate into action.
Actions have to to translate into achievement.
