It all seems so easy on paper.
When we talk, write or counsel about facing challenges, it all seems so right.
Articulating the right words is quite easy when it comes to compare to the ‘real thing’.
A challenge could be personal or professional.
But when you are in the midst of that challenge, you sometimes wonder in what foolish state of mind did you agree to take it on?
Why did you? What purpose? And is the mental stress and anguish worth it?
Days of hard work. Hours of anguish. And moments of self-criticism to take it on.
But then comes the ‘table-turner’.
When the challenge turns into a victory.
When the days, hard work and anguish all turn into the sweet taste of celebrations.
Everything then seems worth it. The self-criticism, the self-avowed promise to yourself never to take such things on vanish into thin air.
Cause nothing tastes sweeter than success.
Doubts melt away. Insecurities ebb. Fear of taking on the unknown seems alien.
And you are ready to take on the challenge.
Once again. One more time.
The circle of life goes on.
