Holidays@Home

The word ‘holiday’ usually conjures up images of mountains, seas, airports, bags, shopping and all varied and kaleidoscopic visuals one associates with holidays.

But how come we do not use this word for lazing at home, picking up a book to read, pottering in the kitchen, organising your otherwise chaotic shelves?

This holiday, I AM HOME. A HOLIDAY@HOME.

And I am enjoying it for a change.  Getting up lazily post 8 am. Loitering in my house and garden. Picking up a thing here. Putting it there.

Having simple menus. Going to a book store. Sitting straight in bed. Catching up on reading my dying-to list. Endlessly talking and gossiping with my daughter.Watching the sun set. Listening to music. And actually wondering what to do next !!!!!!!!!

It is a luxurious feeling.

So, it is fine to skip travelling one of the holidays and just laze around@home.

Eat. Sleep. Drink. Read. Talk. Walk.

Try it. It is worth it.
