Just Drop It

We go through life sometimes worrying about the smallest of things.

What did he say?

What does she think of me?

Will I get the credit for what I did at work?

Will this action create further trouble?

If I say this, will she be hurt?

The list is endless…….. as humans, our emotions sometimes get so churned up in a whirlpool of anxiety, uncertainty, and fear that it overwhelms us to the point of being physically attacked with all kinds of headaches, acidity and so on.

And at that moment,  it is highly important to sit back. Take a deep breath.

The only question at that moment would be to ask yourself:

“Did I do the right thing? Am I true to myself?”

The rest……..Just Drop It.

What does anyone think of you? If you are doing what you have to do….Just Drop It.

Will I get the credit for what I did? What is yours will always remain yours…….Just Drop It.

Will this action create further trouble?  If what you are doing is right and honest….Just Drop It.

Will anyone be hurt by what you say? If you are true to your values, and compassion and empathy rule your behaviour, then maybe the hurt will be less….. because in Life, sometimes ‘hurt’ is a way to go forward and to heal wounds too…..Just Drop It.

We are sometimes so overwhelmed with the churning inside, that we fail to acquire balance for our next step of action.

And Life is all about Balance. Between fear and hope. Between action and restraint. Between thought and word.

So, the next time, you are churning inside….just take a deep breath…..Just Drop It.

Believe me, that is the only way to deal with it.
